We’ve got 16 ranked teams in action in a nationally televised game on this fine Saturday, and most of them are in games against an unranked team. The only two times we get ranked teams squaring off comes in the back end of the Fox doubleheader when Villanova and Xavier lock horns, and then in the ESPN main event for the return bout of Gonzaga and Saint Mary’s.
That VU/XU game reminds me that it’s worth all 10 Big East teams are in action today and all five games are on national TV. That doesn’t suck.
