It’s time for another wild and woolly Saturday of college football!
From a look at this slate of nationally televised games, I think I understand why ESPN’s College Gameday elected to broadcast from Times Square in New York City today. The best game of the day is either #16 TCU at #6 Oklahoma State or #17 Mississippi State at #11 Georgia, and neither of those games were guarantees to be strong matchups when The World Wide Leader made the call on Times Square last week.
I still say that the right move for Gameday should have been Nashville for #1 Alabama at Vanderbilt, but that would have been a risk for ESPN.
