ESPN’s Charlie Creme updated his women’s basketball NCAA tournament bracketology projection on Monday, and things did not go well for Marquette.
In the previous entry, MU was checking in with a #9 seed, which is pretty good! That was a while back, though, and after ugly losses to Providence and Creighton over the weekend, things have changed. Marquette is currently a #10 seed in the new bracket, but more importantly, Creme has the Golden Eagles just three spots away from the cut line with only Iowa and Northwestern standing between them and the bubble.
