As is tradition, the new AVCA coaches poll for women’s volleyball came out on Monday afternoon, and YOUR Marquette Golden Eagles...... are still ranked #19 in the country. That’s two straight weeks at #19 for MU, the best ever ranking in program history.
The Golden Eagles did earn more points in this week’s poll than they did last week. It’s 501 points in the new poll after just 420 points last week. #18 Washington earned 509 points, so MU was not that far away from a brand new program record high ranking.
