The Big East women’s soccer regular season came to an end on Thursday night with all 10 teams in action. By the end of the night, the conference tournament bracket was officially settled and the schedule of events for the next week and a half (or so) is set in stone.
Georgetown is your regular season champs, finishing with a record of 6-1-2 in league action and a total of 20 points. They barely edged out Butler, who grabbed 19 points on a record of 5-0-4 and the second bye to the semifinals thanks to this casual golden goal from Paige Monaghan:
Both Georgetown and Butler will wait at home until November 2nd, when both will host a semifinal match against one of the first round winners.
