On Wednesday night, class of 2018 shooting guard Tavon Jones cut his list of schools down to five, and included YOUR Marquette Golden Eagles in the group. Included along with MU is Stanford, Saint Joseph’s, Seton Hall, and Saint Peter’s.
Jones is a 6’3”, 170 lb. shooting guard from New Jersey. 247 Sports marks him as a four star prospect through their Composite system, where he’s the #135 ranked recruit in the class of 2018.
He’s now the second 2018 recruit to include the Golden Eagles in a cutdown list after Torrence Watson had MU in his group of eight last week.
