Six Golden Eagles scored in double digits as Marquette women’s basketball throttled Seton Hall on Friday afternoon, 103-60. MU was led by a career best day from Isabelle Spingola, who cashed in eight of her nine shots, including 5-of-6 from long range for a game high 21 points in just 18 minutes of action.
Marquette led from wire to wire, taking the lead for good just 41 seconds into the game when an Allazia Brockton jumper went down off of a Seton Hall turnover. That kicked off an 8-0 run to start the game, and by the midway point of the opening quarter, Marquette had a double digit lead that they would never relinquish.
