Rodriguez's career-high leads Seton Hall by Marquette 83-63

MILWAUKEE -- Desi Rodriguez scored a career-high 19 points, and Khadeen Carrington had 17 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals to help Seton Hall beat Marquette 83-63 Wednesday night in a Big East opener.

Seton Hall (11-2), which won its first-ever game at Marquette last season, won its sixth straight contest while the Golden Eagles (10-3) had their nine-game winning streak snapped.

Carrington had a half-court heave rim out at the buzzer as Seton Hall trailed 40-39. But the Pirates held Marquette to just 25.8 percent shooting in the second half, holding them to 23 points.
