After yet another few weeks away, Marquette women’s basketball finds themselves back in the Receiving Votes department of the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll.
This season has been one long strange roller coaster of a trip. Up and down and up and down, and right along with those rises and falls went a smattering of Associated Press Top 25 votes. The Golden Eagles never seemed to do enough to stay in the Receiving Votes category, and definitely never enough to actually get ranked.
After Sunday’s victory over #17 DePaul, the Golden Eagles were granted one 25th place vote by Deb Antonelli of Westwood One.
