Newark, N.J. — Just about any head coach in the country will tell you that winning college basketball games on the road is incredibly difficult. Home-court advantage is a known and accepted trend in sports, but it is especially pronounced in college basketball.
So it goes against conventional wisdom to say that Marquette's two-game trip this week, starting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Seton Hall (15-6, 5-4 Big East), could provide a bit of an advantage for the Golden Eagles (15-7, 4-5). But the way this season has gone, there's certainly an argument to be made in that regard.
