Marquette Women’s Soccer Beats Boston University In The Weirdest Manner Possible

Freshman forward Kylie Sprecher scored the game-winning goal on Marquette‘s only shot of the night to help the Golden Eagles sneak past Boston University, 1-0, on Friday night. The win moves Marquette to 6-1-0 on the season, as they’ve now won six straight.

The goal came in the 22nd minute when Darian Powell sent in a well placed cross from the left side of the field and Sprecher was in great position to volley it in from five yards out. In the end, that was all Marquette needed to beat Boston University. It didn’t come easy however, as the Terriers threw everything they had at the Marquette defense.
