Marquette women’s lacrosse will have a familiar face on the sideline when the 2018 season kicks off in February, as head coach Meredith Black has hired former Golden Eagle Elizabeth Goslee as the newest assistant coach on the staff. Goslee is replacing Hannah Clarke after three seasons on the Marquette sideline.
Goslee will assume defensive coordinator duties for Marquette, a job that she’s well qualified to do. Goslee started each of the first 68 women’s lacrosse games in Marquette history, all on the defensive end. She’s a three-time All-Big East honoree, and the only thing stopping her from a fourth award was the fact that Marquette played as an independent for their first year of Division 1 action.
