For the third consecutive week, Marquette women’s basketball has not received a single vote in the Associated Press Top 25 poll.
I don’t know how to tell you this, but it seems unlikely that the Golden Eagles will be receiving any votes at all when the regular season concludes following this weekend. There are no Big East teams at all picking up any votes in this week’s AP poll, thus it would make it a little hard for Marquette to earn any kind of steam, even with two more wins. Marquette started out the season ranked #17 in the AP poll, so it’s kind of been just a slow descent away from the top 25 all season long.
