Marquette women’s basketball had just one game over the past week, an 83-68 road victory against Milwaukee. They’re now 6-4 on the season, and as a result, they’re still earning votes in the latest Associated Press top 25 poll.
The Golden Eagles picked up six points in this iteration of the poll. That’s down from nine points a week ago. MU’s points come in the form of one lone 20th place vote from David Cloninger, who works for The Post and Courier out of Charleston, South Carolina. I don’t want to tell you his vote is wrong, but he has the Green Bay team that beat Marquette fairly soundly in 25th place.
