Over the weekend, Marquette women’s basketball ran their Big East record to 9-0 and their overall record to 18-3. That’s pretty good.
On Monday, the Associated Press released their newest top 25 poll for women’s basketball, and the Golden Eagles are ranked #10 in the country just like they were last week. Can’t argue with that.
The Golden Eagles actually dipped a little bit in total points from last week. They had 460 points a week ago, and only 452 here. No matter. Oregon State put up 460 points to land with the #9 ranking, while Maryland snared 427 to end up at #11.
