Marquette Women’s Basketball Makes Gains In The Associated Press Poll

It’s Monday, so that means a new Associated Press top 25 poll for women’s college basketball. Last week, Marquette picked up one whole point with one 25th place vote. Then they went out and beat then-#24 DePaul, and they did it down in Chicago, too.

Appropriately, Marquette moved up in the voting. They’re not ranked yet, but they’ve gotten much closer. This week, Megan Duffy’s team is the unofficial #28 team in the country with 14 points from the AP voters. That puts them between Stephen F. Austin with 16 points and Oklahoma State with nine points.
