Marquette Women’s Basketball Leaves No Doubt vs Seton Hall

A 20-4 first quarter run put Marquette up 15 late in the frame and the game was never in doubt after that as the Golden Eagles beat Seton Hall 81-54 in New Jersey on Friday night. The Golden Eagles are now 14-3 in Big East play, and after the other action across the league on Friday, they remain tied with DePaul for first place with one game left to play.

The 20-4 run jumped off early after JaQuan Jackson hit a three to put the Pirates up 3-2 at the 7:39 mark. A layup by Erika Davenport on the other end flipped the lead back to Marquette, and they would never trail again.
