Marquette Women’s Basketball Gets A Commitment From Top 70 Prospect Shemera Williams

With six outgoing seniors after the 2018-19 season, we always knew that Marquette women’s basketball had to make a big impact with their 2019 recruiting class. Not necessarily to replace the abilities of Allazia Blockton & company, but merely to just fill space on the roster while maintaining the trajectory of the program under Carolyn Kieger.

Over the past eight months, the issue of having players who can contribute hasn’t been a problem, as Marquette has snagged a total of seven commitments for next fall. All of the future Golden Eagles have nice things said about them by their coaches and so forth, and scouting reports make it sound like they’ll all fit in with Kieger’s program.
