Over the past week, Marquette women’s basketball went 1-1. They lost on the road against #6 Mississippi State in a very great basketball game that MU had a chance to win late, and then they won on the road at Northwestern in a game that had a fairly interesting middle section before MU won by 19.
The reward for this? Getting dropped one place by the Associated Press voters in Monday’s brand new poll. Marquette is now the #19 team in the country instead of the #18 team that they were last week.
