For the second time this season, Marquette women’s basketball has gone from earning votes in the Associated Press top 25 poll to not earning votes.
Last week, two voters had Marquette in their top 25. That poll came out last Monday, and that night, the Golden Eagles got clonked at home by Creighton. That was probably enough to doom their chances at points in the new poll, but Sunday afternoon’s loss to St. John’s definitely sealed MU’s fate.
Oregon State is up to #10 in the country this week, carrying with them a record of 15-1. Yes, that one loss is to Marquette.
