The minds of the Associated Press Top 25 voters can be a fickle place. Over the first seven weeks of the season, Marquette have not given the voters a lot of reasons to include them in their ballots. However, each and every week since the preseason poll came out, MU has appeared on at least one ballot, including appearing on only one ballot each of the last two weeks.
Last week, Marquette lost in overtime to #2 Notre Dame but still earned one vote. This week, Marquette beat St. John’s and Seton Hall to open up Big East action 2-0.
