Selena Lott soared close to a mythical 5 by 5 stat line on Monday night at the Al McGuire Center as her Marquette women’s basketball team downed Creighton, 65-41. MU is now 16-4 on the year and 13-3 in the Big East. With the win, the Golden Eagles have now clinched a top three finish in the conference and will have, at worst, the #3 seed in the conference tournament.
After a nice bit of back-and-forth action to start the game, Marquette closed the first quarter on a 10-0 run to go up 18-5.
