Coming out of the weekend, it was probably too much to ask for Marquette to jump all the way up into the AVCA’s Top 25. That ended up being true on Monday afternoon, as the new poll was released and MU (10-2) found themselves two spots outside the top 25.
A week ago, the Golden Eagles got five points in the poll; this week they have 60 points. #25 Western Kentucky has just 75 points and Santa Clara, the team between MU and WKU and owner of one of MU’s two losses on the season, has 67.
