Last week, Marquette volleyball used a win over Hawaii to earn themselves some top 25 votes. In between now and then, the Golden Eagles went 2-1 to even their record on the year at 3-3. However, the loss was enough to change the minds of the AVCA voters, as MU is no longer receiving votes in the newest poll.
Marquette was handed a prime opportunity over the weekend to earn themselves more votes in the poll. In between matches against Miami (OH) and IUPUI, the Golden Eagles squared off with Wichita State, who sat in the #26 spot in last week’s poll.
