Hunter Eichhorn led Marquette as he shot five strokes under to help the Golden Eagles place second at the Lake Charles (La.) Invitational this past weekend.
The men’s golf team placed second at the Lake Charles Invitational tournament which wrapped up Tuesday evening in Louisiana. Marquette finished two strokes under par through two days of competitive play.
Freshman Hunter Eichhorn and sophomore Matt Murlick had a top ten finish for the Golden Eagles as Eichhorn finished with five strokes under par (211) and Murlick finished with four strokes under par (212).
Head Coach Steve Bailey was impressed with his team’s overall play throughout the two-day invitational.
