Earlier this season, Marquette men’s soccer went out to Providence for a regular season match against the Providence. Thanks to a Marquette red card in the 10th minute before either team even put a shot up, the Friars ended up outshooting Marquette very very badly and took a 2-0 win. Between then and Saturday afternoon, it was impossible to tell what might have actually transpired between the two sides if Marquette had been able to play with 11 men for the entire match.
