Marquette men’s lacrosse is headed back to South Bend for a second time this season.
The Golden Eagles will play Notre Dame in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Since the Fighting Irish are ranked #4 in the field, they will be playing host to Marquette, the Big East tournament champion for the second straight year. The game will take place on Sunday, May 14, with faceoff set for 11am Central.
Notre Dame went 8-5 this season, with a 2-2 record in the ACC. One of ND’s wins was an 11-10 affair against Marquette where Sergio Perkovic scored the game winner on his sixth goal of the game with 23 seconds left to play.
