Montez Mathis is a 6’4”, 190 lb., shooting guard from Maryland, where he attends The John Carroll School. 247 Sports has him as a three-star prospect and ranked #148 in the class in their composite ranking, but Mathis is a four-star prospect and #67 in the country in their internal system. He’s got a ton of offers in hand already, including Connecticut, St. John’s, and Xavier.

If he’s a pure shooting guard, I’m not sure how Mathis fits into the picture for Marquette in 2018.
