As was expected, Wisconsin standout Joey Hauser signed his national letter of intent to play for Marquette today. Hauser will join the Golden Eagles in the fall of 2018 and will have four years of eligibility.
Hauser is regarded as one of the best Class of 2018 prospects in the country, and depending on who you ask, the best prospect in the state of Wisconsin. The 247 Sports Composite system has Hauser, the younger brother of current Golden Eagle Sam Hauser, as the #34 player in the country, the 10th best power forward, and the #1 player in the state of Wisconsin, just barely edging out the currently uncommitted Tyler Herro, who comes in at #36.
