It’s a time honored tradition for outlets covering college basketball to release Way Too Early top 25s on the Tuesday after the NCAA tournament national championship game. It’s reasonable to think that, between having an awful defense and losing four players, Marquette has no business being in any of those top 25s. That’s fine. No big deal. Not the be all/end all of the world.
However, it is kind of a drag to pull up the Way Too Early Bracketology effort from ESPN’s Joe Lunardi and fail to see the Golden Eagles in the field of 68.
