Marquette wrapped up the 2016-17 campaign with a first round loss in the NCAA tournament to South Carolina on Friday night. It was a big bag of bummer all around, but there was a nice moment after the game over on Instagram.
Houston Rockets guard Lou Williams reposed the MU athletics image celebrating Jajuan Johnson reaching the 1,000 point barrier with his first basket of the game on Friday, and gave his nephew (Lou is Jajuan’s mother’s brother) a shoutout and a bit of congratulations.
