Golden Eagles enjoy a rare laugher

It was an easy night at the office for Carolyn Kieger.

And that hasn't happened too often.

The Marquette women's basketball coach could sit back and enjoy as the Golden Eagles drubbed Providence, 105-75, Friday night at the Al McGuire Center.

MU (8-11, 3-5 Big East), which has one of the youngest teams in the nation, has taken its lumps. Finally the Golden Eagles were able to dish some out.

It was the second time this season Marquette rolled up 100 or more points, and the 105-point tally was a season high in the Big East.
