Golden Eagles deck another heavyweight

What a difference a month makes.

The Marquette women's basketball team lost to nationally ranked Seton Hall by 31 points on Jan. 3.

Oh, how the times have changed.

MU exacted some revenge for that embarrassment Sunday afternoon by knocking off the Pirates, 89-82, at the Al McGuire Center.

The Golden Eagles (11-11, 6-5 Big East) won their fifth-straight game. They also pretty much had the upper hand on the Pirates (17-5, 7-4), ranked 25th in the USA Today Coaches Poll, all day.

Marquette went on a 14-4 run to close the second quarter and led, 42-31, at the break.
