ESPN's Jeff Goodman is reporting that Duquesne graduate L.G. Gill has elected to transfer to Maryland for his final year of collegiate eligibility. Gill just finished a visit to College Park this past weekend after visiting Marquette back at the end of April.
Gill averaged career best marks of 10.1 points and 6.5 rebounds for the Dukes this past season. While 6.5 rebounds per game is nothing to sneeze at (it would have been the 12th best mark in the Big East last season), the fact remains that Gill doesn't rank in the top 500 in the country in either Offensive Rebounding Rate or Defensive Rebounding Rate.
