The mindset for fall collegiate athletics this upcoming season is going to look a lot different than usual on the Marquette University campus.
On Monday June 8, the BIG EAST Conference announced a few changes that will come into effect in the months ahead.
The BIG EAST Conference first announced the new chairperson of the conference’s Board of Directions, Rev. Peter M. Donohue, president of Villanova University. Fr. Donohue replaces former chairperson, James M. Danko, president of Butler University, who had served in the position since 2018.
In the press conference the BIG EAST also announced the development of a conference-wide COVID-19 Task Force.
