One of Marquette’s prospects for the class of 2019 is off the board, as top 30 recruit Jalen Wilson committed to Michigan on Wednesday evening.
Wilson is listed as a 6’6”, 185 pound forward from Denton, Texas. According to 247 Sports, he is ranked 29th nationally and 3rd in the state of Texas. While the Golden Eagles were one of the six teams in Wilson’s early May cutdown, things were trending heavily in Michigan’s direction since then. Typically when a recruit makes their decision this early, it’s to go to a Power 5 school with a basketball pedigree like Michigan.
