Class of 2018 guard and Marquette target Tyler Herro shined in the NY2LA Summer Jam Wednesday, leading the U17 Wisconsin Playground Warriors with 20 points in their 75-57 loss to the California-based U17 Dream Vision.
Herro’s offensive display came in front of a litany of coaching staffs from high-major programs. Wisconsin’s Greg Gard and Ohio State’s Thad Matta were in attendance along with assistants from several teams including Arizona, Michigan State, Iowa State, SMU and Gonzaga. MU assistant coach Brett Nelson represented Steve Wojciechowski’s staff. Former Marquette assistant and current Arizona assistant Mark Phillips was also at Homestead High School.
