There’s only one downside of all of these conference tournament being hosted on campus sites. I’ve got no problems with the conferences rotating in and out for a few days, that’s fine. The only downside is that we don’t get any Daytime Basketball. Oh well, the Big South will rescue us tomorrow.
What we’ve got today is three new conferences jumping into action. The most important game of the day is the Vermont/Maine game in the American East quarterfinals. The Catamounts have won 18 straight, which is the longest active winning streak in the country now that Gonzaga lost the other day, plus they’re the first team to ever go 16-0 in America East play.
