'You are NOT welcome in Manchester' United fan group warn potential US equity firm Apollo off buying shares in the club, detailing their links to disgraced sex offender Jeffrey Epstein

A rebel fans’ group is threatening to damage the reputation of the company looking to buy a minority stake in Manchester United unless it abandons talks with the Glazer family.

The Boycott Movement Against the Glazers, which launched its #notapennymore campaign last year to target United’s sponsors and the US owners’ revenue streams, wrote an open letter to Apollo Global Management on Thursday warning of the potential consequences if it doesn’t pull out.

The group brought up the links between Apollo’s founder and former chief executive Leon Black and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex trafficking charges.
