Wout Weghorst claims he 'must be doing a good job for the team' after starting 18 straight matches for Erik ten Hag, as Ronald Koeman claims the Man United loanee could lead the line for the Dutch national side

Wout Weghorst has claimed he must be doing a good job at Manchester United after starting 18 consecutive matches under Erik ten Hag.

The 30-year-old arrived on loan from Burnley in a shock January move and has become an integral part of Ten Hag's side.

Weghorst has only scored two goals since his arrival, but contributed to the Red Devils winning the Carabao Cup last month.

The 6ft 6in forward has also earned praise from his manager for his selfless work for the team.

Weghorst told The Sun his continued presence in the team shows Ten Hag's trust in his contribution.
