Manchester United and Derby County have reached an agreement for talented young striker James Wilson to complete a season-long loan at the iPro Stadium.
The 20-year-old, who has scored four goals in 20 first-team appearances for the Reds, will join Nigel Pearson’s squad as the Rams look to secure promotion from the Championship this campaign.
Wilson made his United debut under the interim management of Ryan Giggs at the close of the 2013/14 season, famously scoring twice against Hull City at Old Trafford, and he remained a part of the senior squad during Louis van Gaal’s first year at the club.
