Why Everton v United will be a landmark game

It will be the 100th time we've played the Toffees at Goodison Park, which has been their home since 1892.

Never before have United racked up a ton of away fixtures at the same ground - only Maine Road (130 games) and Villa Park (105 games) have hosted us on more occasions, outside of Old Trafford and Bank Street - our home between 1893 and 1910 - of course.

However, Maine Road was actually rented by United for several years after the Second World War - meaning 74 of our fixtures there were actually 'home' games, with only 51 official 'away trips'.
