Former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has praised his old teammate Marcus Rashford for his free school meals initiative in the UK.
Rashford has spent much of the year battling with the UK government to get funding for free school meals through the holiday period and lockdowns that have been enforced from the coronavirus pandemic.
Lukaku said that Rashford has done a 'beautiful thing' and that he has 'massive respect' for his former strike partner at Old Trafford.
'What he did is a beautiful thing - it's something he deserves massive respect from the whole population throughout England,' Lukaku told ESPN.
