Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants a return to Manchester United’s glory days when players helped run the dressing room with what he describes as ‘inner justice’.

Though Sir Alex Ferguson was firmly in charge during the most successful period in the club’s history, Solskjaer saw strong personalities such as Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Peter Schmeichel inspire each other by delivering strong home truths.

It is a common complaint there are not enough leaders in the modern game but Solskjaer sees hope with the impact of Bruno Fernandes at Old Trafford.
