On Sunday, the eldest child of Wayne and Coleen Rooney celebrated a landmark birthday as he turned 16.
And two days later, he provided an encouraging fitness update on social media after being sidelined with an injury for the past two months.
At the start of September the forward was on crutches and his right foot in a protective boot - sharing an image of his predicament on Instagram alongside a caption of 'Life can't get worse'.
