Wayne Rooney has revealed that one of his former England team-mates wouldn't speak to him for six months after an incident that occurred in a Premier League game.
The Manchester United legend was speaking on his new BBC podcast The Wayne Rooney Show after his former club kicked off their campaign with a somewhat undeserved 1-0 defeat to Arsenal on Sunday.
Rooney was asked about about an infamous match between the two old rivals which took place in the the 2004-05 season.
The Red Devils ended Arsenal's 49-game undefeated run with a controversial 2-0 win at Old Trafford, Ruud van Nistelrooy opening the scoring from the penalty spot in the second half before Rooney put the game to bed in injury time.
