Wayne Rooney reveals how a night out with wife Coleen was RUINED by a 6-1 derby defeat for Manchester United - and says he wishes he had cancelled dinner after inviting two stars from victorious rivals City

Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has revealed spending an 'uncomfortable' night out with his wife Coleen's alongside two Man City players, just hours after losing the Manchester derby 6-1.

A party was held at Wing's, a popular haunt for footballers and other celebrities, and a particular favourite of Rooney, who once complete a Q&A with United fans in the restaurant.

Various United and City players have been spotted in Wing's over the years, and even Alex Ferguson was seen eating there in 2013.

The evening after United's derby loss saw Rooney spending the evening with England teammates Gareth Barry and Joe Hart, both of whom were playing for City at the time.
