Watson optimistic about comeback

Emma Watson is feeling positive about making her long-awaited return to the Manchester United Women side as she continues her recovery from injury.

Watson suffered an ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) injury while on international duty with Scotland last September, but in recent weeks has been back on the grass with the Reds at Carrington.

The 18-year-old was involved in the club's pre-season games following her summer arrival from Rangers, but injury has meant she’s yet to make her competitive debut for Marc Skinner’s side.

However, speaking on the latest episode of UTD Podcast, Emma was feeling upbeat about her recovery process.
