Victor Lindelof is backing Manchester United to start challenging for silverware, after the Reds secured Champions League qualification for the 2020/21 season.

The Reds’ 2-0 win over Leicester City ensures we’ve finished in the top four of the Premier League for only the third time in the last seven years, meaning entry into Europe’s top tournament no longer needs to be gained via the Europa League.

United now have 10 days’ rest before European football resumes, with the second-leg of our last 16 clash against LASK next up at Old Trafford on 5 August, before a potential mini-tournament in Germany.

And the Swede believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side should be wanting to lift the trophy in Cologne at the end of next month.
