Victor Lindelof hopes the extra 24 hours Manchester United will have over our UEFA Europa League semi-final opponents will give the Reds a slight advantage next Sunday night in Cologne.

The Reds now lie in wait for the winner of Tuesday night's Wolverhampton Wanderers v Sevilla clash ahead of this weekend's semi-final. And Victor reckons the added time we have to recover will be a benefit.

“It's hard to say, but it's tough now so an extra day is always a positive thing,” he told MUTV's Stewart Gardner.

“That extra day of rest... you never in the last minutes of a game if that can be the difference.”

Lindelof was introduced to the action on 71 minutes, in place of Eric Bailly, and slotted in alongside his regular centre-defensive partner Harry Maguire.
